Join us for the 2025 Flower Festival, a delightful community event bringing together local organisations, clubs, and nearby churches to create a showcase of over 20 floral displays in an event set to combine Jane Austen’s literary world with the coastal charm of Saundersfoot, under the theme ‘Seaside Sensibility.’
Saundersfoot in Bloom is keen for participants to forego the use of plastic floral foam, and last year’s entries were truly inspiring, featuring inventive foam-free designs using flower frogs, stones, and chicken wire, and cleverly using milk bottles, watering cans, and even wellingtons to hold their arrangements. You can also expect to see an array of knitted, crocheted, and paper flowers displayed alongside the traditional fresh blooms!
Community groups are welcome to interpret the theme as they wish and will have the opportunity to share information about their organisations, including what they do and contact details for those interested in getting involved.
There will be coffees, teas, and cakes served in The School Room to enjoy, with donations greatly appreciated.
Additionally, the talented Côr y Môr will grace us with a performance on Saturday, 9th August (times to be announced), along with various art and craft activities throughout the week. We can’t wait to celebrate this beautiful event with you!
