Love Saundersfoot
How we came into existence & the Saundersfoot Event Group (SEG)
After a village-wide meeting on 17 March and an important follow-up on 30 April 2025, Love Saundersfoot was born, culminating in the official launch of the Saundersfoot Events Group as a Community Interest Company (CIC) on 7 May 2025. This means we’re now dedicated to serving Saundersfoot’s Residents, Visitors and Businesses.
We publicise and celebrate all village events, regardless of who organises them and we plan and deliver events ourselves; all of it designed to bring our community together. In doing so, we are replacing and going beyond what the Chamber of Tourism achieved between 2000 and 2022.
From where we’ve started to everything we’ve got planned, our goal is to play a part in taking Saundersfoot to new heights.
Read on to discover how we’re making it happen and how you can get involved!
What is a CIC (Community Interest Company)
We are a Community Interest Company (CIC). This means we’re a particular type of non-profit organisation designed to benefit the community rather than private shareholders. For Love Saundersfoot, becoming a CIC means 100% focus on supporting our amazing village that so many people love.
CIC status compels us to reinvest profits directly into local events, and event collaboration that brings people together and enhances the community spirit we all adore.
Think of it as a way to help keep Saundersfoot thriving whilst ensuring every penny goes back into our village.
Love Saundersfoot is run by unpaid Volunteers – It’s Not for Profit – All Income is spent only on SA69 Events and Event Coordination & Collaboration.

What We Do
Saundersfoot is bursting with amazing events, and we’re here to help Residents and Visitors find and enjoy every single one. We’re not just fans of the village’s vibrant event scene—we’re part of it!
By teaming up with all local event organisers, we bring all Events under one roof through our Universal Calendar – from which we will promote Events on Social media – all to make sure you don’t miss a thing.
Think of us as your friendly guide to all the fun Saundersfoot has to offer!
What we do
To help everyone know What’s On – from regular village activities to the big spectacular events
How we do it
We collaborate with all Village Event Organisers to make sure the Calendar is accurate and to put on events ourselves
Where we do it
…and through the Love Saundersfoot Brand (Website, Social and Email) we promote the events in the Calendar
1: Create a central and universal Calendar publicising all of What’s On
2: Create Popular Events ourselves
Enable collaboration across all Event Organisers
We Complement Each Other

Community Conversation for Saundersfoot Residents and Businesses
Events and Promotion for Saundersfoot Residents, Businesses and Visitors.
We are not an over-arching Events Authority
We are unpaid Volunteers collating all Saundersfoot events, putting on Events that others do not and enabling coordination and promotion with other Event Organisers

What we’re doing now
• The Events Liaison team is formed, growing and entering data to enable development and early release of the Universal Events Calendar.
• The Events Management team is also formed, growing and shortlisting Events the Group can put on this year and next.
• Both Events Management and Events Liaison are building a list of Event Organisers with whom we are beginning to collaborate in order to populate the Universal Calendar and help others with create Event creation.
• Memberships is working with Marketing to create packages for Saundersfoot’s Businesses, Charities & Voluntary Groups. The ‘What’s in it for me as a Business Owner’ will centre on extending your ‘reach’ through www.lovesaundersfoot.co.uk visitors & our large social media following (17,000 and growing) and email subscribers.
• The marketing team is building the lovesaundersfoot website, the Universal Calendar and capabilities that help everyone get the best from the village. Priority today is to create the central, Universal and fully functioning Events Calendar before the start of this year’s Summer Season. Treasury is researching Grants and potential Event Sponsorships.
We hope you’ll agree that’s not bad progress for an official start on 7th May!

FAQ
What is Love Saundersfoot?
Love Saundersfoot is the brand we are using to bring together and promote all the wonderful events happening in Saundersfoot. Think of it as the heart of Saundersfoot’s community events, created by us for everyone to enjoy.
What is the difference between Love Saundersfoot and the old Chamber of Tourism?
Also a good question! Some of what we do is similar, but we are different. For one thing, we are a registered CIC so we have strict rules regarding delivery to the Community that we must, legally, adhere to. For another, we are lucky enough to have more resources to call upon.
We have placed both Residents and Visitors at the epicentre of what we do. If we help you enjoy our village with all that’s happening, then Saundersfoot’s Businesses, Charities and Voluntary Groups will thrive as a result (better for you in turn).
And finally, Love Saundersfoot has the resources to be able to collate all village events into a single Calendar, whether or not they are advertised on Social Media.
What is the difference between Love Saundersfoot and Saundersfoot Event Group?
Great question! Saundersfoot Event Group is a committee of elected volunteers who work behind the scenes to collate, promote and create events in the village. Love Saundersfoot is simply the name and platform we use to deliver this work for the community.
Is Love Saundersfoot replacing Saundersfoot Connect?
Not at all! Saundersfoot Connect has done (and continues to do) amazing & valuable work for the residents and businesses of Saundersfoot; providing an open channel for posting and communication.
We’re neither replacing nor competing with Connect. We’re adding to it with an absolute focus on events to ensure you have a clear, reliable place to go for all events – helping to make sure you don’t miss a thing.
What’s the difference between the roles of Events Liaison Manager and Events Manager?
Our Events Liaison Manager pulls together details of all events in the village regardless of who is organising them. Us, The Harbour, Hean Castle Estate, Rotary or the many other groups & Businesses that arrange events in the Village
Our Events Manager has the job of designing and putting on the events that we are responsible for delivering such as Christmas Lights, Halloween Trail & New Year Fireworks.
Is Love Saundersfoot an over-arching events authority?
Absolutely not! We’re not here to take over in any way, shape or form. Certainly we’re creating and hosting our own events, but we’re just as excited to offer the Universal Calendar for all events and promote & shout about them – All the fantastic events happening in Saundersfoot that benefit our Community. It’s all about sharing and bringing together everyone who loves Saundersfoot.
