Lighting Up the Village
Join us in Saundersfoot on Saturday 21 November 2026 for the Coastal Christmas Big Switch On.
Enjoy Santa’s sleigh, the lantern parade, the Elf Run, festive singing and the village Christmas lights.
With Christmas markets and the Saundersfoot Footlights Christmas Panto taking place throughout November and December, there’s plenty to look forward to.
The Coastal Christmas Big Switch On
What to Expect
The celebrations begin with the Elf Run from 2pm along the Strand.
Following this, live street music is being planned while we wait for Santa’s Sleigh which will be followed by the Lantern Parade and Santa’s elves as they march towards the Sensory Gardens for the BIG SWITCH ON at 5pm.
The lights in the Sensory Gardens will be switched on by Santa and the Chair of Saundersfoot Community Council. Christmas trees will go on all around the village at the same time.
There will be singing by the children as well as our wonderful local choir Cor y Mor.
