The Alice in Wonderland Pantomime is a lively and comedic adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale, infused with all the beloved traditions of British pantomime.
The story follows the adorable Alice as she tumbles down the rabbit hole into the fantastical world of Wonderland.
There, she encounters a host of eccentric characters, including the perpetually late White Rabbit, the riddling Cheshire Cat, the zany Mad Hatter and March Hare, and the intimidating Queen of Hearts.
True to pantomime style, the show features:
Audience participation: Expect plenty of shouts of “Oh no he isn’t!” and “Oh yes she is!”, along with singalongs and opportunities for the audience to cheer for the heroes and boo the villains.
Comedy and slapstick: There’ll be an abundance of silly jokes, puns, physical comedy, and often a comedic duo (like Tweedledee and Tweedledum) to provide extra laughs. We’ll have plenty of music and dancing and the show is filled with upbeat songs and fabulously choreographed routines.
